    Recommendation for a Golf Course

As a part of a networking organization I am looking into a suitable Golf course to hold our networking event.

Following are some factors for our choice:

    1. Should have a driving range.
    2. Must have a place where networking event can occur (inside)
    3. Must have a dinning hall for sit down dinner.
    4. Should have dinner/catering facilities. We actually would love to get food catered from an outside company.
    5. Should have a decent Golf Course - More par 3 and 4s.
    6. Should not be more than 20 minutes drive from
    Ottawa center.

I would appreciate any recommendations on Golf course. Any personal experience (good or bad) is appreciated.

Requirement #6 pretty much limits your selection to very few courses especially if you factor in any kind of traffic.

The other thing to consider is that most places do not want you to cater from the outside.

Off the top of my head I think Chateau Cartier is probably the most suitable.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Have a look at the 'Featured Courses' in the left hand menu and you will see the location of most corses in the area. Many of them a great for 'networking' tournamnets.

The Marshes is set up for what you are looking for.

In addition to the 18 hole Championship course they have a Par 3 9 hole (Marchwood) course which beginners and novice golfers find more appealing than the big course. In fact many companies will have their entire staff golf on the Par 3 course regardless of ability as they tee off after 4:00 pm and be inside having dinner by 6:00 - 6:30 pm.
