Rating/Slope Difficulty Comparison
My question relates to course difficulty based on ratings and slopes. For eample, Course "A" has a rating of 69.5 and a slope of 117. Course "B" has a rating of 68.4 and a slope of 120. Which course would be considered the most difficult?
Witrh regards.

The Course Rating indicates the measurement of the relative playing difficulty of a course for a scratch golfer.
The Slope Rating indicates the relative difficulty for the "Bogey" (17-22 Handicap Factor) Golfer compared to the Course Rating.
The higher the Course Rating, the tougher the course for a scratch golfer.
The higher the Slope Rating, the tougher the course for a "Bogey" golfer.
In your specific example, it would depend on whether you were closer to a scratch golfer or a "Bogey" golfer.
