Looking for Golf Course Reviewer

Hey folks:

I'm the editorial director at Ontgolf.ca, and a golf writer for the National Post and Score, among others.

We're looking for someone to join our Weekend Hacker team this spring. Essentially the gig involves writing about a half dozen reviews of courses over the summer, and in exchange we pay your green fees. We're heavy in Toronto now, and I'd like to add a reviewer from Ottawa.

Here's the concept:

Essentially I'm looking for someone to do reviews of what I'd consider "value-priced" courses, those under $75. In Ottawa area I'd expect that's a majority of them. I'd be looking for about half a dozen reviews over the course of the summer in the format of our Weekend Hacker (the link was in my post -- www.ontgolf.ca/weekendhacker). They require some simple photos and a little bit of writing. The Ottawa writer would be the third "Weekend Hacker." Each is anonymous, and simply shows up at the course, pays the green fee and writes the review without letting the club know they were there. You can be as critical as you'd like. We're probably be looking for about half a dozen reviews over the summer. You'd then submit your green fee to us and we'll pay it in exchange for the review.

A little bit about Ontgolf.ca. I took my blog onto the site two years ago and regularly have between 1,000 and 2,000 readers a day. Overall the site has upwards up 150,000 visitors a month.

Robert, you should definately make use of mpare. He is a lawyer, an eloquent writer and as fair a critic as you could find.

I would have volunteered myself, but with so many local advertisers here I don't think it would be right. Good luck in your search.
