How far south to find a course?
Anyone know how far south would I have to drive to find a course open in the US?

When I drove back last Sunday there was very little snow in Syracuse but I think you'd have to drive a good 7 or 8 hours before finding something open right now but a week of warmer weather and the 3 hour drive should do the trick.

Liverpool and Foxfire in Syracuse were ready to open any day as of 1 week ago. No snow, just need warmer weather.

Just drove back from Myrtle Beach. Courses in Harrisburg PA area actually starting to look a little green (most appeared to be open). Hints of snow still in the hills and shaded areas in Binghamton keeping courses there closed. Syracuse appears to have more snow than Watertown and more then 2 weeks ago when we drove down.
Very depressing driving home Yesterday it was 26C in North Carolina, then within 2 hours it dropped to 8C when we got through Richmond Va. And of course today we get home and the snow banks in Ottawa are still the same height as when we left 2 weeks ago
At least we got out before that big dump hit 2 weeks agoI don't have an ulcer - I am just a carrier.

Do you have a link?
Some people are like Slinkies... they're really good for nothing, ... but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs...

I drove down to Kitchener Waterloo last weekend. Still lots of snow everywhere, though less around the GTA. At least a foot or so in southern ontario. Even down there, I don't see them golfing before the 15th.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.
