Looking for a unique Scotty!
Seeing as how my fiancee's (weird typing that isn't it? ) original idea for our anniversary went out the window recently, I may be able to convince her to buy me a Scotty putter.
I'd want something unique (collector's piece perhaps), that can be gamed, has minimal upkeep (not a big fan of having to oil my putter), in close to mint shape (grip, h/c, head, shaft etc), and between $300-400 (could possibly hit $500, but I don't want to push it). I'd also consider a collectable headcover as well if it could be included.
Feel free to post here or pm me with a price. It can be a blade or mallet, I'm not that picky. Now granted there is no guarantee you'll get a sale out of this, but I'm sure if I push hard enough I can get what I want. This is something to commemerate our 5 years together so I'd like it to be special.
Let's hear what you have to offer.
** Edit: Please pm me your asking price. Seeing as how it's not a guaranteed sale, no need for the offers to be made public**Last edited by Big Johnny69; 03-13-2008 at 10:29 AM.

I have a friend with a Scotty 1.0 for sale... try and find that on their website. It is 35 inches and he does not want a ton of money for it. However it would ship from Ohio.

Why not get a used putter of your choice, send it in for a resto job and have it stamped with your initials. It becomes a very special putter that you won't swap out even if you stop gaming it.

Not trying to switch you from a Scotty, but have you considered one of the "custom" putters? I was thinking one of the following:

Good news and bad news Geoff...
I found a pic on Ebay. Putter looks fantastic. However after seeing the pic and finding out what he wanted for it, I bought it for myself
Sadly, that would be the 4th putter I have purchased since yesterday....
Must be getting close to Spring....The opinions expressed in this post are mine and may not necessarily reflect the opinions of others on OG.

So I sent emails to both Slighter and 350Milled for quotes. But still entertaining Scotty offers. Keep them coming.
