It must have been a slow week at Golf.com. Have a look: http://www.golf.com/golf/video/artic...t031708_story4

I remember they did one of these either on the Golf Channel, or maybe it was Feherty, last year. It was pretty funny.
My preferred technique when I do launch is the overhand "tomahawk" method. Good distance and accurate too.Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

I would have to agree with the above method..I have never tried it but have seen it happen many of times and the baby goes like there is no tomorrow...and most times there is no tomorrow for the club....
I have seen a few stuck in trees, any one have the perfect method for getting clubs out of trees?

Funny you bring up trees.
I was playing with a guy a couple of years ago and he missed a chip shot and flipped his club backwards over his head. He forgot he was standing near a big pine tree. Yep, you guessed it, the club got stuck. It gets better though. He tried to knock it out with another club and that one got stuck too. Luckily for him my brother in law is 6'6" and the bunker had a rake. Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Based on past (distant past) experience, I would caution against the overhand throw. It is extremely dangerous. The club can bounce and, worse yet, snap. There is nothing more dangerous than the possibility of being impaled by a broken shaft. The helicopter throw is actually longer and safer, not that I throw clubs any more. I'm getting older. I'm supposed to know better.

The pitching wedge that came with my first set was so bad that it couldn't even hit the pond that was twenty yards away.
My clubs are too expensive to be tossed around now - although I had to reshaft my TM Rescue 5 wood last summer after it broke after a minor toss. Must have been a stress concentration in the shaft - that flowed from my brain.
