    Handle/Nickname

Just curious, where did each of you derive your Ottawagolf handle from? Ty Webb was Chevy Chase's character in Caddy Shack. Carl Spackler was too long although I more closely relate to hime.

It's a Phil Mickelson thing. My lob wedge is my favourite club. I love to play those big vertical flop shots, it's my "get out of jail free" card.
When applying the Rules, you follow them line by line. You don't read between them.

I loved your mom too Gary.

Sorry man couldn't help it, you opened the door.

4Jag s/b self-explanatory, it was either that or "WeakFade" or "ChiliDip" or simply "Skull". All part of my golf repertoire!

Hmm... I thought it was an indication that you leave your putts short all the time

Anyways, Krolik is the Russian for rabbit. How I got that one is a long story that even I don't remember

My wife's first name begins with "L", mine begins with "T", and my last name is GRAY. Mix it all up with a few Mexican spices, add a little Santana music in the background, and voila - EL TIGRE!

Mine came from my mom too. She gave it to me in march of 1961.

Before I became event coordinator here at OttawaGolf and started using my real name, I had "No Back" simply because I had a very bad lower back and couldnt stand up after I hit a ball. Good thing was that i would still take money form my buddies but would be in pain for 18 holes.

I like to shop for "stuff".

Let's see now, hmmm why Treewood :freak5 ? Oh Yes, Probably because this season I had a tendacy of taking the scenic route from tee to green, thus had to carry this special club in my bag. This year was a love/hate :reallymad relationship between my clubs and me!

My initials are jag, when I thought that having 4jag around would give the wrong impression about my "balls orientation".

I got mine from a set of Golfsmith ProForged blades that I was in love with briefly from about mid January to early February 2003. I joined OttawaGolf on Jan. 25, 03, although I had previously been a member when the forum was under a different format.
I never actually hit those clubs and sold them to Big Easy a couple of months after joining. Since then I've been thru at least a dozen iron sets, most recently in love with a set of Tommy Armour Silver Scot 986 Tour Blades. I'd change my handle but A) I don't want to confuse anyone and B) I don't know how. So I guess I am stuck with it.
