    Refinishing Irons

Can this be done? If so does anybody know where in the Ottawa area? Any ideas on cost?

It can be done, but IMHO it's not worth it unless it is a collector set that you want to keep and not play.

The cost is on par with a new set of heads so just go out and get some shiny new ones.

    Golfworks offers this service BTW.

EDIT: I assume you are asking about re-chroming. If it's just tumbling a set of stainless that is cheaper.

You can also just buy a good regrooving tool and do it yourself. I think to have it done through golfworks they send it off to the States and it can be costly.

I just sent my Mizunos to the Iron Factory and can't wait to see the finished project details here. They are based in Colorado and I believe $22.00 per re-chrome and $29.00 if you need them grooved.

I will post up before and afters if anyone is interest, likely in a month or so.
    I golf therfore I swear

Regrooving only is 12.00$ a club which isn't bad.

    I wouldn't bother regrooving this:

it is best to have this to do a good job

And this is simply a hook blade available in any hardware store:
