I only played it once last year, but the fairways were crisp and the greens weren't that great. It's an ok course for the price, but I think there are better options in that neighbourhood.

Mississippi is a great course! Have not played there in a couple of years but have always enjoyed it. Its a old style course, has always been in good shape when I have been there.

I used to play Irish Hills quite a bit, but when they put in the new 9 they ruined it for me. I'm not a big fan of packing holes close together....when playing golf I don't like to have to fear for my life

Here is my review of irish hills. I personally like but my friends aren't fans. Like hacker said, with the new 9 you have holes criss crossing over eachother on the back nine. Its pretty scary. The course is long, which I love. The fairways are like your backyard if you were to cut your grass really short. I enjoy the layout of the course. Its pretty cheap bro, give it a shot this summer. I think you might like it.
One more thing, my friends that really don't like playing there... they are the short hitters. The long hitters don't mind that course at all.willy

I used to play Irish Hills a fair bit a few years ago.
As mentioned, the price is right. It's actually a good practice course. The fairways are generally a little on the shaggy side but the holes themselves are a good mix and have decent length. The front nine is much nicer than the back.
The greens are tiny. If you want to work on your irons, it's a good place to go.Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

There's a map and satellite overview of the Mississippi course in the thread called: "ReservationMasters Golf Club course changes"

the only thing I can add to everyone else's observations about Irish hills is that the tee boxes are usually pretty chewed up and poor. Greens are fast and as Willy said the course plays long.
Take bug spray and use it on #5 and #13 cause you will need it.

Irish hills easier to post lower scores, pretty bland course, but good to play early in season.Mississippi a great course, has a little of everything, very fun to play, but difficult to get prime-time tee-offs because of very high numbers of members booking.I usually play it late in fall with a group I frequent,it's a must on our list.cheers, enjoy it.
