How far do I have to drive from Ottawa to play golf?

And do you have any suggestions as to where to go?

    Thanks.

haha.. you can almost smell the desperation as March approaches and its -20 around here... I don't know where, but you can get there in one day's drive.

I played April 7 or so at Vieux Moulins. Then I played April 13th at Bethpage.

I'd say I pretty much covered both ends of the spectrum there.

Pretty sure I was one of those guys.

I am golfing at least 3 rounds in Arizona next week. Pluse the condo has internet access, so maybe I'll put up some pics.

Isn't it amazing how BIG the hearts and the genuine concern that these kind folks show for us snow bound golfers are at this time of year? Thanks guys NOT!

Just flew from Myrtle Beach yesterday and it was just above freezing our last day. It was only about 10-15 celcius all week. It should warm up this weekend. To get below the snow you would need to go south of Washington DC. Maybe Virginia or North Carolina. You are looking at 10+ hours if driving.

On our way back from Hilton Head, as soon as we started up the mountains in Virginia the temperature went from 19C to 3C in the matter of 15 minutes. I think right now North Carolina would be the closest "safe" place to play at this time of year.

Hey everyone in Ottawa right now... just sitting in the condo in Florida with my golf clubs sitting next to the door thinking about you guys!

OK I'll stop rubbing it in. As far as driving south to play golf... You're looking at Virginia (Maybe as I didn't see any courses from the Interstate but there wasn't any snow) and North Carolina for sure, i saw 1 course that had flags flying and kinda green... but mostly brown grass. Looks like its been a harsh winter even for the states.

    Florida is awesome though!
