Thread: OG vs TGN/TGI Version'08!

I'm working on it Mike. I have to sell it to the CFO.
At least if I go there'll be guys more my size on the team (below 6'). I just met hoolio tonight for the first time. He and Geoff definitely have the "twin towers" thing covered.
Nice to finally put a face to the name, hoolio. Enjoy the Tourstage! When applying the Rules, you follow them line by line. You don't read between them.

You should be able to guess the secret to my size based on where we met up last night. The large frosty I got for the ride home was a delicious way to celebrate yet another smooth OG BST Deal.
You do have to hand it to Wendy's for being responsible though. Sure they make the Baconator, but they don't give you the option to wash it down with a Biggie sized frosty.Let's put a Smile on that Face!

Ahhh, the Frosty. Nothing but malted goodness.
If you haven't tried one yet, the spicy baconator is pretty darn good too.Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Tried removing your pride but it's not coming out of the bag. It seems to be weighed down by all that coin I took off you last year, as well as a big placeholder for future coin.

I know it's a bit early yet, but I was just wondering who was planning on heading down Friday for a round?
I have this stupid idea in my head of playing 36 on Friday, Smugglers on the way, and maybe a practice round at Trillium when I arrive. Currently the plan is contingent on actually having a vehicle, but I'm not too worried about that one right now.Let's put a Smile on that Face!

I am for sure. I think Indo and Ironmaster will as well. MPare was contemplating it.
We played last year at around 2pm. That gave Frank some time to drive there from PA.
So....

Some people are like Slinkies... they're really good for nothing, ... but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs...

Well I think Jason (geronamo) said he was up for going down Friday too, not sure if that's still the case. I know I won't be stopping at Smugglers if I'm playing alone, so if he comes down with me and only wants to play 18 then I assume we'll probably just head to Trillium. I guess if we get a few more guys then we can try to set-up a little cash game.

If there is a cash game, I might consider it.

If Sak is in for the cash game then I'm definately in. Taking Andrews' money never gets old...
I'm pretty positive I'm in for anything Friday. Hoolio, we can do 36 if we work a cart into one or both of the rounds.
I should be able to have a vehicle to go down as well if need be.PROUD MEMBER OF THE 2007 & 2009 OTTAWA GOLF RYDER CUP CHAMPIONS!!!

Please welcome the two newest members to our team: Mattchew and Paulio. I'm sure they'll be great additions to the team.
As of right now Fallys has to back out due to prior commitments. And I have yet to hear from habsfan, so I still need at least one more, most likely two. I'm still waiting to hear back on a few PMs I sent out a while ago. Hopefully I'll have some takers, if not, I'll be scowering the forum for bodies."A life lived in fear of the new and the untried is not a life lived to its fullest." M.Pare 10/09/08

If we twist a bit harder would you consider coming down with us on Friday? I can always call the significant and explain to her how much it would mean to us if you were there for the practice round!
Welcome to the team Rich! If your lucky, you won't be paired up with me, I have put a few ponds on over the winter and I will be hard to carry on your back for 18 holes!Proud member of the 2009 OG/TGN Ryder Cup Champions

I doubt that I will be able to make it on Friday. You know how much I hate to miss a money game, but work commitments come first. I'll let you know as soon as I can.

Man you're going to have quite the wardrobe.. aren't you wearing your pajama's with all the hearts on them when shacking up at the B&B? Have you and Frank decided if you are going to share a room togther? You know there are only 3 of us this year and 4 beds. You and Frank can still share a room leaving an extra room for Hoolio
I'm sure he'll make friends there very easily.Last edited by The Saint; 04-10-2008 at 08:20 AM.
