Can I just bring a measuring tape if I don't have access to a range-finder? Sure it might make for a 9 hour round, but they have a beverage cart, right?

Isn't the more important question "Are they stocking MGD at the bar now?"

We can welcome another new body to the team. Welcome aboard Wilster, good to have you as part of the team. I'm sure you'll fill in nicely.

Even i'm getting tired of people poking at Jarred!! I know it's all in good humour but it still wears on someone!

I'm on record, the bat sign wasn't a shot at Jarred, I just wanted to use the Bat-sign. I think I've kept it clean since he requested it months ago.

What? No one liked my Pee Wee Herman?...
Sorry JarredSome people are like Slinkies... they're really good for nothing, ... but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs...

Unfortunately BogeyGolf has to remove his name from the spares list. So I'm definately looking for others that might be interested in playing in this. I am still awaiting a response from smithers40, but I still have 2 returning players I have yet to hear from and no spares in case they can't play.
So PLEASE, if you are interested in playing in this, please pm me."A life lived in fear of the new and the untried is not a life lived to its fullest." M.Pare 10/09/08

Is it still May 24/25?

Spare list is updated in the order I got PMs. LobWedge, I didn't receive a PM from you stating your interest, but you did reply in the thread so I got you on the list. A few responded before you, but I may end up needing you regardless, if you are interested.
The list of participants and spares is on page 4 of this thread."A life lived in fear of the new and the untried is not a life lived to its fullest." M.Pare 10/09/08

Change of plans. The deadline for notification of participation has been changed from April 23/24 to this weekend.
Fallys has made arrangements with me about his interest in participating in this. I'm still awaiting his response, so a spot is still held for him. But habsfan hasn't been online since Feb 16, his email address I had no longers work. So unless he comes online between now and Sunday, his spot will be released to someone on the spare list.
I'm still awaiting a response from smithers40, and along with Fallys, if they both can play, that would put the team at 16. So there will be two spots possibly available. And smithers40 told me he'll know by tomorrow whether or not he can play.
So stay tuned for more updates."A life lived in fear of the new and the untried is not a life lived to its fullest." M.Pare 10/09/08

I hate to do it, but an unexpected expense (someone smoking my car in a parking lot and not leaving a note) is going to force me to withdraw from this event.

I'm working on it Mike. I have to sell it to the CFO.
At least if I go there'll be guys more my size on the team (below 6'). I just met hoolio tonight for the first time. He and Geoff definitely have the "twin towers" thing covered.
Nice to finally put a face to the name, hoolio. Enjoy the Tourstage! When applying the Rules, you follow them line by line. You don't read between them.

You should be able to guess the secret to my size based on where we met up last night. The large frosty I got for the ride home was a delicious way to celebrate yet another smooth OG BST Deal.
You do have to hand it to Wendy's for being responsible though. Sure they make the Baconator, but they don't give you the option to wash it down with a Biggie sized frosty.Let's put a Smile on that Face!

Ahhh, the Frosty. Nothing but malted goodness.
If you haven't tried one yet, the spicy baconator is pretty darn good too.Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!
