Last year Lance and I found that it may be useful to throw a club on the first hole to jump start your game. There's no reason to wait until you're a few down! That appears to have worked wonders for us. Besides, it may work on a psychological level as well. The other side will think your nuts. It's hard to swing if you're looking out of the corner of your eye.

Just saw on TGN that they have finalized their team. Some real strong additions to their team this year. We've got our work cut out for us to repeat. We'll have to hit'em straight and sink the putts. But I've got faith in my team.

Even though it is still over 2 months away, I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea to get an idea of the numbers for this event.

Priority goes to those that played last year. So if anyone knows, as of now, that they can definately make these dates, you can start posting your confirmations now. I have a few tentatives, so those on the spare list, I'll keep you posted.

Update: I should have the fees given to me in the next day or so, and when I do I will post them here.

As well, I put in the request to have a 1:30-2:00 start time on Sat and a 9-9:30 start time on Sun morning. From what I remember, most of the players wanted to start earlier on Sun.

I don't see why not. I liked that place. It would be nice to get us all in the same place to hang after the rounds on Sat. The TGN guys want to stay in the same place as us. So I guess we better decide soon to book a block of rooms, hopefully all together.

**Special note #2: Just a reminder to all of those that said they will participate. I will need 100% confirmation by the 24th of April. Even though at that time the event will be a month away, I'll need the confirmation so I can start collecting fees and we can book the hotel. I don't want to have to rush around looking for players at the last minute like last year. I appreciate everyone's understanding and co-operation with this.**

Another update, I got the costs for this year. Looks like we lucked out, our fees only went up $1 per round.


Cost is $45/round and $15.50 per person/round for a cart. We got another great deal at TW.

Would everyone like to stay at the same place this year along with the Toronto guys? Myself and racmbs were thinking it would be great for us to stay at the same hotel to hang out and get to know each other a little better after the round on Sat.
