Anybody else interested in playing if some of the members of last year's team can't make it? I already have three or four on my spare list. But I'd hate to have anyone miss out because they took too long to reply. Get your name on the list now. I'll be looking for confirmation of players about 4-6 weeks before the actual event. If I can help it, no last minute scrounging to try and find players. This should give everyone interested enough time to go over their respective schedules to see if they will be available to play in this.

I say put the Sak down as an alternate and I'll work on him over the next 4-6 weeks

He's in AZ right now, when he gets back he'll be sorely missing the golf he just left and probably agree to playing anyway.

Even though it is still over 2 months away, I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea to get an idea of the numbers for this event.

Priority goes to those that played last year. So if anyone knows, as of now, that they can definately make these dates, you can start posting your confirmations now. I have a few tentatives, so those on the spare list, I'll keep you posted.

Put me at 94%, but if Sakuraba ends up getting in then it will be an automatic increase to 111% for me, just because I know he won't be able to confirm more than 100%.

......Sure!!! He heard those last coins jingling in my pocket and wants to do something about it, I guess he figures he's doing me a favor by removing excess weight that may agitated my knee.

I'm going to set a deadline for confirmations on April 24th (one month before the event).

And like last year I'll need proof of handicaps about a week before the event.

Talking about this event and the start of the golf season are the only things keeping me sane with all this snow this winter. C'mon warmer temps and green grass!!!!

Just saw on TGN that they have finalized their team. Some real strong additions to their team this year. We've got our work cut out for us to repeat. We'll have to hit'em straight and sink the putts. But I've got faith in my team.

Scott (racmbs) is in the same boat as me. It's too time consuming to set up a qualifier. I find a hand picked team is better anyways. You can always offer a spot to someone you think will get along with the rest of the guys.
