Guys, a few updates for you.

First off, after much deliberation over the last week I've come up with the pairings for this year's Ryder Cup match.

ironmaster and Indio
Lance LePage and Chris St. Michael
hoolio and geronamo
Paulio and Mattchew
Drew and gbower
LobWedge and jvincent
Sakuraba and Pinshark
Bouche and ???
Wilster and habsfan


Secondly, as the observants ones have probably noticed my name is not up there. It is with great sadness that I have to back out of this year's matches. With this temporary position at work I have some work related things I can't put off. As well, with my course opening later, and I have yet to pay for my membership this year, the financial situation isn't right either. Seeing as how I also have a bachelor weekend to plan and pay for as well. It's an unfortunate oversight on my part, but it is what it is. I am still working on being able to go (hence Bouche's participation is tentative at this time, dbleber you're next up), but it doesn't look promising at this point.

So please welcome Mr. LePage to position of Ottawa Team Captain. I hope everyone shows him the same courtesy and respect you all showed me. I know I'm putting the team in good hands and am fully confident we'll bring home the hardware for a second consecutive year.

Lance, your duties will be limited to making sure everything runs well during the weekend. I will have everything done for you beforehand.

Good luck guys, I'll miss not being there.

Well some more bad news......looks like I tore a tendon in my wrist (Again) and may have to get a cast or surgery depending on how bad it is....Going to the doctor in an hour to find out the extent of the injury! Will let you know if im in or out later tonight or in the AM!

i can get you an 8.6 player if you need Geoff. He sneaks around the board but not a member. Worse case if you need someone last minute.

Yes, I could. I do have a vehicle, but mentioned to the wife that I would be getting a drive with Matt. We will see how this all develops.. Matt and I were supposed to be back down on Sat night, which is where the problem lies (other plans) and then we were going to drive back for the Sunday.

I can drive 3 golfers + their equipment (as I offered earlier in the thread) but I'm going down for the practice round friday, coming back Sunday. I will gladly pass through Ottawa/Gatineau & pick up anyone who needs or wants a lift.

.....Don't worry about a thing, your clown suit will probably blind them and we'll sneak in some good shots while they're looking for their sun glasses . If that doesn't help we'll just have to laugh a lot and enjoy ourselves no matter what, that's an order soldier !!
