More weights = more distance ?
Addind 30 yard when maximising weights on MWT clubs.
For pro's only, until now!

If you can keep the clubhead speed the same, then yes more weight will result in a little more distance.
That first IF is a pretty big one.Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Soo would those clubs still be conforming with those weights? Wouldn't it pop the MOI over the legal limit?

Not sure about the MOI. I didn't think the Quads were very close to the limit so I doubt it would push it over.

I read somewhere that a 10 percent increase in clubhead speed would give a 10 percent increase in distance but a 10 percent increase in club head mass (7 ounces weight typical) at the same clubhead speed would only give a 1.7 percent increase in distance, these are on perfect hits.

Just for fun, I plugged some numbers into Trajectoware and here's what I came up with.
CHS: 110 MPH, Loft: 10.5, Head Weight: 200g ===> Ball speed = 161MPH, Carry = 262.9 yds
CHS: 110 MPH, Loft: 10.5, Head Weight: 220g ===> Ball speed = 163.7MPH, Carry = 268.5 yds
I'm ignoring the fact here that the measured swingweight would be significantly higher and the shaft would feel softer.Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Just to 1up jvincent....
I used niblick's Swing Perfect Model software, and varying only the club head weight:
200g ====> swing speed 116.3 mph
220g ====> swing speed 112.9 mph
Input this into Trajectoware:
200g & 116.3 mph ====> ball speed 170.2 mph ====> 280.5 yds of carry
220g & 112.9 mph ====> ball speed 168.1 mph ====> 277.0 yds of carry
So you will result in a net loss of 3.5 yds of carry.
The trajectoware also puts the 220g head at a lower angle of decent, which results in a little bit more horizontal velocity at landing (1 mph) .... so a little bit more roll, but probably not enough to gain back 3.5 yds.Back at it.

And to get a 10% increase in club head speed the effort or work would have to be just over 20% more. READ: Do up your laces and swing out of your shoes.
Kinetic Energy = .5 mv2
If v = 100 mph mph, v2 = 10000
v = 110, v2 = 12100
So a 10% increase in club head speed equals a 21% increase in effort. Is this math correct?

For myself, I like the addition of the weights to feel the head better. I'm able to hit the centre of the face more often which may result in better distances. I hated my R7 TP until I added weight to the head.
I just have an easier time keeping it on plane and feeling the head and it helps me maintain a consistant tempo... Light swingweight drivers are difficult for me to control.
Just my 2 cents .

Actually, I bought a superquad driver at eBay
Unfortunately the two 1g weights are stripped.
I managed to unscrew them.
Now I'm wondering if I should go for more weigths,
since I prefer a heavy head.
But wondering if too much would hurth my distance.
Or I could get 30 yards as promise from the Ebay seller!!!
As long as you swing at the same speed...
That's a good answer!
Some of those Einstein answers... contributions to physics
almost including a theory of relativity, lost me at ...|>

the ebay seller is full of ish. If that was the case, taylormade would already have included tehse weights with the driver OR would have atleast sold them and advertised the distance gain. Its pure BS. How much does 20g increase in the head change the swing weight?
Just remember, if this small adjustment could increase the someones drive by that much, all drivers would come like that... stockwilly
