Some people are like Slinkies... they're really good for nothing, ... but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs...

Hey folks---Bob you were right---got nailed with a bad ice storm from St Loius- south. Stayed in Mt Vernon overnight but woke up to 1/2 ice on everything----shades of '98.
Lukily we were only 2 minutes off the I-57; they had it pretty clear. Headed for Memphis to visit you-know-who. For anyone that hasn't visited Graceland--it's a treat--you have no idea about his total effect on people until you see it. I was expecting to see some "goddy" made out house etc but it was anything else but.
Donny--for what you paid for your new house you could have bought 3 of his in 1962. There were so many gold records I thought I was in Fort Knox! Got pics--will send a couple when we settle. It would really be a shame if anyone is this close and does not see it---I can understand now why it is the 2nd most visited place in the U.S.
For us older folks--"it's a must see" Glad we did it.
Should make Amerilo today---the highway system here is super but I have never seen so many cops in my life---when they say "no tolerance" they mean it!!
Take care folks--Brian and DianeDoes the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

It was because of YOU that Brian and I bonded (or at least I thought we had).
It's amazing how seeing you from behind while you were wearing a Johnny shirt turned out to be such a bonding experience.............we have supported one another through the hours and hours of rehab.

Sounds great Bigmac Have a super time and take lots of pics. The memories will get you through the rest of the winter.
I should be golfing at the Barbados Golf Club this week and there is a chance of the prestigous Westmoreland too. We shall see. Hard for me to get out, as you know, hubby isn't so interested and it would'nt be so good going on a strange island alone.
