Nike Slingshot Irons... Looking Hot
I look at the new Nike Slingshot Irons, and they look just great, Incredible well design, the people of nike are one of my favorites
and this time they have done a great job in the design department.
Im a huge design fan, and even in golf I end buying things in a big part by how they look.... but that just me.
And they seem to have a great technology behind them too.
Check out the web site at www.nike.com and tell me if they are not a beauty.

From looking at the site(which is great if you have high speed) I have to say I really don't like the look of these clubs maybe if I saw them in person and had a few whacks with then I might change my mind. Nike always spends lot on marketing there products so I'm sure they'll sell lots come November 15th. I'm probably in the minority for not liking the look of these clubs. (I can also see why they call them slingshot; I guess band-aid was copyrighted )

Thick
I was at the PGA show in Toronto this week and tried the Nike irons and boy are they thick. The sole is very thick but they feel pretty good.
They weren't as nice as they look on paper or on websites in my opinion.

yucch
I tried them at the show in Toronto also and was entirely unimpressed.
The really fat sole is not nice. They were extremely light feeling and I wouldn't buy them for sure.

Nike Slingshots
I've seen the Slingshots at the show yesterday and I agree that they looked much better in the mags than in person.Tried them and the kind of metal band aid was making air resistance that is not needed. My opinion only.

Slingshots
dbleber:
I tried the new Nike Slingshots at a golf show last week and hated the way they looked up close, but I couldn't believe how easy they were to hit. I like a club with a little more feel, but that comes with the price that when you mis-hit you really miss. These Nike clubs would be th best clubs on the market for a high handicap or someone who has trouble getting the ball up high. I think for most guys ( or gals) who shoot in the low 80's and lower, they'll agree that you like something with a little more feel. Like all clubs - Try before you buy, what I say or golf digiest says doesn't mean @#$% if you can't hit the ball!
Hope that helps,
Denny
