Pebble Beach ProAm
What is better than playing Pebble Beach, having Natalie Gulbis as your caddy.
Some guys have all the luck / connections.
Regular TV looks pretty good, but we really need the Golf Channel to be in HD in Canada.

Do we really need to see some of those swings in HD?
There's no way Chris Berman is an 18.Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

I was thinking the same thing about some of the reported handicaps.
The HD is for the views . Brings back good memories.

What qualifies as celebrity these days is pretty sad.

I'm always curious about the handicaps from the celebrities at these types of events. Dont get me wrong, somebody with an unorthodox swing can play some pretty good golf....those kind of guys at the club gives me fits!
The AT&T Pebble Beach is my wifes fav. tournament of the year because she gets to see all her favourite actors hamming it up on the course, and while I enjoy that as well, I watch for the scenery and the pros. Some of those pictures are breathetaking with the ocean crashing on the rocks/beach like that...makes me home sick.

This guy Forstmann moves in some pretty lofty circles.
Seems a little odd that an active LPGA tour player is caddying, it would be interesting to know how this came about.Al Gore didn't invent the internet, but he did invent global warming.

Is Tommy Gainey Tommy 2 gloves? If so he made a move so far today. -4 for the day and 3 under for the tourney.
Lots of yoga pants these days, not enough Yoga!

why is it a big deal, tiger caddies for his college buddies from time to time.
Also, why does everyone thing these LPGA girls are so hot? they are hot compared to the rest of the girls on tour but compared to other women they are a little above average.... maybe the fact that they are amazing golfers makes them seem hotter to you guys?willy

I'm really pulling for Tommy. I hope he can turn it around, make the cut. I was hoping to see him on the tourcast until I realized he was on the poppy hills course...
Hey Sak, genius, he's playing Spyglass...Last edited by Sakuraba; 02-08-2008 at 04:52 PM. Reason: he's not at poppy hills either!

Mike Weir would have a really good round today, if he wasn't bogeying par fives. The last time I looked he was 3 under after having bogeyed two par five. That really has to hurt. These guys normally feast on these holes. Does anyone know what happened?

If you're referring to Gulbis being a caddy, it's not that it's really a big deal but I don't think it's the same as Tiger looping for a college buddy. Friends from college are like no others, Tiger was probably trying to help out a friend, and the last time I remember Tiger caddying was for Jerry Chang about 7 or 8 years ago.
I doubt the overloaded bag Gulbis is hauling around is that of a college buddy. I do have to admit though, she seems to have some business savvy, and getting face time at Pebble/Poppy can't hurt her.
I think you answered your own question. They are are hot within the context of the LPGA.Al Gore didn't invent the internet, but he did invent global warming.
