Are you allowed to bring your own power cart to a course??

pop it in the bed of your truck and bring it with you? Would any course say no you can't??

Unless they have some type of special policy. I know that ClubLink wants no part of that.

My B-in-law lives in the States and some of the members at his course have their own carts but it must stay at the course.

We do it here at my course but we are in a town of 2000 ppl.. We charge 50 dollar a year trail fee and everyone brings there own carts.. My buddy lives up the street and picks me up in the cart all the time.. We drive er right down the main drag to the course.. About a 5 min. cart ride.. Its wicked.. I could tell some wicked stories of driving the cart home in the dark through some fields after a few to many with a lot of ppl on the cart.. Including a buddy loaded strapped in where the bags go.. haha.. shhh!

It's certainly possible for courses to allow individuals to use their own carts. The Amherst Golf Club in Amherst, Nova Scotia had quite a few members, who did just that. The club even a building in which their carts and the club's carts could be stored and the batteries charged. All of this was done for a very reasonable fee. Allowing non-members, over whom they would have little control, though, might have been problematic. In fact, I don't recall anyone who was a non-member bringing their own carts.

My home course has cart storage for privately owned carts. They charge about $400 a year to keep them. It's still a lot cheaper than renting one every time out.
A lot of the courses we play in Florida are built around or beside housing and a lot of people just ride their carts to the couse. A trail fee is usually applied.

We were thinking of buying a "Smart" car---slapping a bag rack on the back and balloon tires----then we could get rid of our pull carts!
    Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?
