Just Bought

As the title says, I just bought and received a brand new Taylormade R7, Ti 7 wood off of Ebay, no head cover. I paid $51 US dollars delivered to the door, I am excited to give it a try in the morning!

How is it? I'm curious to buy one on eBay but I've heard of so many clones & counterfeits...

For your info., I querried a number of sellers regarding whether the r7 clubs being advertised are authentic or clones. It appears that quite a number are knockoffs, some with or withour the tool kit ,etc., and, of course, no serial number. The following is a response I recieved yesterday, May 20th. So its buyer beware.

here i just want to tel you the truth that The club is reliable from Taylormade, but not registered. Our supplier is from the fareast, and are licensed to sell the item. They ordered the materials from the factory which was destined for Taylormade. However, made up by themselves. so the quality is as good as those registered. If you are an expert in playing golf, you may pay ￡300 for the registered ones. If you are not a professional player inquiring highly accurate club, our item is very suitable for you: low price and good quality.
Anyway, whether you buy the item or not, I will accept it happily. I have many customers all over the world. Now I get little benefit in selling such a low price. I just want to obtain a good partnership with the customers. So I hope everything goes smoothly whatever you decide. Thank you, kind regards."
