Clublink is publicly traded so I'm not surprised.
Significant acquisition costs are pretty much always disclosed in financial statements. Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

It was built at a cost of 12 million and went bankrupt. Andre Lacasse was one of the original equity member-investors. He bought it in an overgrown state for 3 and brought it back to condition. He also added all the interlocking brick cart paths. His wife made and cared for the flower gardens and they finished the clubhouse which was just a shell when he bought the course.
He may have made a profit, but he put a LOT into the course. He was on site virtually every hour the course was open.Life dinnae come wit gimmies so yuv got nae chance o' gitt'n any from me.

Now if Clublink would just get moving and buy Stonebridge, Camelot and Loch March. Maybe throw in Le Sorcier for a bit of spice.

Stonebridge will likely not be purchased by Clublink. They announced in November during a club meeting that the driving range will be turned into homes at the tail end of the development. And if I remember correctly, no range = no Clublink

I keep all the balls that misbehave during the season and when we play Hautes Plaines we fire them out into the jungle.Bad balls, bad bad balls.

When I was University I made a load of cash picking balls at night at the bottom of those nasty gorges at the old Dome. 500 balls was an average take with about half of them umblemished. I used to sell them where I bartended by the bag of 50 balls for 30 bucks.

Hautes Plaines had a range at one point. Not sure if it was there when CL bought it, but I believe the range is now #8.
