Funny the thing I liked the most was the cool grip. Is that new or something old?

Don't quote me on this, but I think that these grips, or the emu grips or various other "exotic" grips are made in very small numbers, and usually accompany the finest of the fine leaving the putter studio.
If you look at the fujikawa shaft under this grip, these "studio design" graphite shafts usually go out on 009 or garage or GSS putters and are very expensive and quite rare.
The funny thing is that all of these putters aren't new. They are all very rare/special putters because they were made for this group (individually) and I'd assume, mostly by Scotty for his friends. That circle L handstamped by Scotty as a gift to his "loser" friend (at golf) is a one off and you'll never see something like that at the actual trade show for sale.

Tom is bang on. However, Scotty gets Gripmaster to make his grips for him, so you can get similar exotic grips direct from the source. They won't be the exact same, and they won't have Cameron markings, but they're nice grips just the same. I think the one you've pictured is alligator.
Here's a link to their exotic skin line. http://www.thegripmasterusa.com/exotic_skins

I only got in to Orlando late today, so when I went to the TableRock booth, it was near bare. I talked to Jeff Butler, Jim's son, and he said that it was madness at 8:30 when the show opened. They sold 68 putters in the first hour. The cheapest putters were probably the Studio Selects at around $2000, but the price went all the way up to $15,000 for a handmade. That's a pretty good hour's worth of business. Should be madness there again tomorrow when Scotty shows up. Aside from the autograph session, he's bringing another batch of putters, some of which he wants to hand deliver.

My pleasure Lorne, it was a lot of fun today. Scotty cruised in about 12:00 or so, with a big box of putters preceding him. He made a little presentation about some of the new ones and then started signing. I was lucky enough to get a couple things signed, but much better than that I got to chat with him for a few minutes. Very down to earth guy, very sincere, and really interesting. It's obvious that he cares quite a bit about the collecting community. I was really impressed, I wasn't expecting more than an assembly line type signing, but he really took the time to talk to everyone there.

Spackler, time to work on a Cirle L cover (or maybe a W, but apparently they come pretty hard)

Alright, here are the pics from this afternoon's batch, some really incredible stuff.
First up is a couple of copper plated 009s. Note the CU - P stamp on the neck.

Here's another one. Really liked these, they were going for $4500, which is a $2K upcharge over your normal 009.

Wow, Scotty is really starting to get "out there" with some of his designs, stampings and grips. IMO some of this stuff has ceased to be what I'd consider a usable putter and moved more towards "art" and like most art the beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

The yellow is emu.
This is a direction he has been going for some time now. That said, I don't think people who are dropping $7000+ on a putter are likely to game it anyway. Nothing stopping them though, if you can get by all the stamps, they're very usable putters.

Coronado G&G with 'Retro' stamps on the flange wall and face, plus on the sole a bulldog, a scotty dog, a jester, a peace of mind, a peace sign, and a crowned G&G.

I know and personally I find it unfortunate that Scotty spends as much time as he does on the "collectable" pieces. Money talks though and if he can make 7K plus on a garage or sss I guess that beats selling OTRs for $300.
I do admit my opinion evolves mostly from the fact that I really dislike all of the busy stampings etc.

Lance was too lazy to get his cover to me before I left, this is my own cover getting signed here. Lance says he's going to give me his at the meet and greet, but lots of things can happen between now and then.
