    Club Damage

How many rounds (my usage aprox 500-600)before a set of irons have worn away

the groves on the club face?

I have noticed that my irons seem to have less bite (SPIN) than in previous years.

Can they be refurbished at a reasonable cost??

A set of irons should not wear out with 500 to 600 usages. If you were a tour pro who hit the sweet spot with regularity, then you would have a noticeable wear pattern over time. However, I suspect that you are not in that category. Even forged blades, that are made of softer metal than cast clubs, will last you a long time. I've had mine since 1988 or 1989 and they are still very serviceable. They can be re-grooved. Others on this site would be able to tell you about regroving cast clubs, if that is needed.
