    World Under 17 Hockey Challenge

I attended an exhibition game tonight, Team Ontario played Team Russia.

No contest. 9-2 for Ontario. Too many penalties for Russia and clearly they were outclassed in this game.

The tournament is being held in London, St Thomas and other small cities around this area.

I will attend 3 more games in St Thomas.

I was impressed with Team Ontario. For a team that has not been together long they really looked strong. There was some highlight goals from this bunch of 16 year old players.

The future of hockey looks pretty good in Ontario right now!

    Hey Rcik,

You should try to go to as many games that you can. This is an awesome tournament. We had the tourney in Northern Ontario in the past and now you realize how many good players were here. They played in Kirkalnd Lake, New Liskeard, Rouyn-Noranda and Timmins... it was jsut awesome.

Some of the players: Daigle, Thibault, Kovalchuck, etc...

    Enjoy...

It is cheap to go to the 4 games in St Thomas. $20 for 4 tickets.
Some of the games are in Woodstock, Stratford, Strathroy, Lucan and the JLC in London. Depending on who goes for the gold I might go to that game in London. I heard it was not sold out.

I can tell you one thing, Team Ontario is loaded with talent. They made that Russian team look bad
