A Christmas Poem To Ottawa Golf Forum
Twas the night before Christmas in the
Ottawa Valley
Not a golfer was on the course, wailing away with a Cally
Dan Kilbank was snuggled by the fireplace
Wishing for gifts to help drives in the right place
Geoff Johnston was sitting and thinking away
“What can I trade my driver for today?”
Hacker was busy decking out the tree
Hoping for warm weather so he can hit the first tee
Wishing he’d taken care of that knee in the past
Bugsy was laying down, she is tired
For looking after
Big Mac was snoozing in his big comfy chair
Dreaming of Flordia and the sunny warm air
Jarred was busy strumming a tune
Praying a new girlfriend would be in the picture soon
Little Brit was baking cookies on the hot stove
Knowing soon she be laying in the sand on
Lance Lepage was out, still shopping with this wife
He told her “Please Honey, do not buy me a 2 iron AKA butter knife”
Sillywilly was…………………………………..
Well what can you say about Sillywilly?
Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night
Just a few more hours and Santa will be in sight

Ya know what Brian? I was pumped yesterday because it rained and the snow all went BYE BYE. I was thinking "oohhhhhhhhhhhhh baby I am going to sneak in a little bit of golf at the Little Course on Boxing Day" Then I woke up this morning and there was white CRAP all over the place here.
As for the poem, you know I am bored when I come up with crap like that But I am glad everyone liked it. New tradition?

Hey Rick--last year after the first few lines I gave up trying to get things that rhyme---yes and I was bored too.

Hola amigos! Belated Merry Christmas to all! Was Santa good to ya? My present was a week in Punta Cana. Just got back about an hour ago. Glad to see some of that heinous amount of snow has disappeared.
Man, I did not want to get on that plane home. Great food, Dominican rum, hot sun, soft sand, clear blue ocean, great "scenery". I WANNA GO BAAAAACK!!
When applying the Rules, you follow them line by line. You don't read between them.
