Good luck Bob, I too had the "you will be awake for the whole operation" thing, we will just freeze everything. Of course no saws were involved for me, but it is still quite an experience.

The funny thing is, they froze my spine and I fell asleep immediately! I wouke up 2 hours a 40 minutes later as they were rolling me to recovery

Well folks just a quick update on Indio, he is now in the waiting room with his cute little hospital gown and blue little slippers, at least the slippers match the gown, oh yeah, and he's shaking like a leaf.... Indio dearest got up about 20 times during the night to smoke....but he said he wasn't nervous. Will keep you posted on how it's going

A 'visit' to your local surgeon has to be one of the most humiliating experiences in the worls.... sitting out in the general traffic with youe ass bared to the world

OK--it's 3:48--just got back from the jail--err--mean hospital--cell mate is about to be killed but other than that things are just about normal---except for the cute "anti embolism stockings " They took away his morphine--must have known Hacker and I were coming He is in good spirits----They might let him go home tomorrow if he can get it up 3" -----oh sorry ---his leg 3" off the bed. Apparently they cut the complete muscle I'll let him explain. Hacker has pictures to post later "What's In The Bob" apparently 9 1/2 lbs of stainless steel

They moved me before I got a chance to strangle the SOB....... Apparently Bugsy went to the nurses station and suggested that if they kept me in the same room as this guy, one of us would not make it to breakfast If I heard hellooooooooooooooo one more time he was going to be minced meat.
