If you are interested.
Hey folks--I have spent the last 3 weeks learning how to use this thing--posting pics etc. I wrote a short history "I HAD A DREAM" in the Canadian woodworking forum.
Seeing as things are a little slow here you might want to take a peek
www.canadianwoodworking.com/forum
Its a 3 part posting---found under woodworking probably pages 2 and 3-- thought it might be of interestDoes the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

Great story Brian....
How come no golf related woodworking projects in the pictures? You have a nice little business opportunity making golf ball display racks and golf club/putter display cases!
I know I would order from you seeing the great stuff you have made!Proud member of the 2009 OG/TGN Ryder Cup Champions

I loved the pictures of the portable saw mill. My wife's cousin builds timber frame houses up and down the Gatineau, including his own recently in Tenaga. I got to help mill a couple of big old pine trees a couple years back. It included delivering the logs to the mill from the fall spot by rolling them with timberjacks (I think that's what he called them). Lots and lots of fun.

My wife's cousin (Mike) is a bit younger than you Mac , and he's only been doing it for 5 years or so, don't think you'd know him. He works with a guy who I think was in Rupert before moving to Wakefield recently. Stephane is his name. No last names to protect the innocent. They do most of their milling, and make up the timberframe kits, in a barn on a woodlot in "metropolitan" Cantley.

Wow. Really cool stuff. Kept me interested even at 5 am after writing a paper for 12 hours. I am going to go pass out now, but it definitely wasn't on account of that story.
