Two personal best in one day!!!

On the first day of our end of the year Ross golf association tournament on Thursday I shot a 30 (6 under) on the front nine of a course I never played before, I also had 5 birdies in a row which is a new record for me,(once had an eagle and 4 birdies but never 5 birdies in a row) I started using a different putter the Wednesday before (shot even par that day). The putter that I was using was a second hand T.P. Mills number 8, it sure stroked the ball well, for a second or two I thought I was Geoff Johnston with that famous touch on the greens .

.....I knew someone would have to ask !!. I had 4 bogie's on the back nine with one birdie, so I wound up with a 69, the most embarrassing thing was 3 putting the last green in front of about 70 people that were curious as to what I finished up with . Everyone from the peanut gallery were shouting out different things to me and I literally forgot how many paces away I was (7 uphill) after checking the line and setting up to the ball, I stroked it with 10 inches back instead of the 8 I needed thus giving myself a 5 footer coming back which I lipped out . Oh well kind of sucked to be me at that point .
