That course could actually be made into a rel nice layout if someone had the money to sink into it and make say 18 to 27 real good holes and build a descent clubhouse/pro shop.

4.5 million??????? What is the asking for just the course? I agree 100% with Indio--I love the layout--well a lot of it. I swear to god if someone with a brain and some money well spent --that place could be a goldmine-well silver anyway. Hope it re-opens in the spring-a lot of people enjoy the course and since the greenskeeper from Metcalfe was coming over things were actually starting to improve.

How about the forum pooling all their credit and buying the course. It will be a co-op style setup. We will have somewhere to run the spring and fall tourneys for free!
Then when we get bored we can sell it to clublink and make a pile of money!!!

i say we get 100 guys from the forum to each chip in $50k and we could own a golf course. think about it..... people pay alot more in initiation fees alone at some course, and for that price we could be owners... what you all say... im in. im sure the bank will loan me $50k with zero collateral.

I saw a course for sale in the "Ripon" area (near Montebello) on the lacapitale website for $350000. I'd link it, but its not possible for one so technologically challenged as myself. I emailed it to hoolio & Johnston, they haven't replied...

Most car payments do not take 40 years to pay off. I'd be dead by then and not get anything back on my investment!

Could this be Stephane Richer golf course clled Montpellier up for sale?He used to be a Habs player a few years ago and has owned the course for a while.Quite a busy little course not too long very mountainous,good challenge for iron play.
