Just to 1 up hoolio, how about this beast:
I'm pretty sure any of your dream cars would fit in there.
Bart: "Dad, doest that thing come with a satellite dish?"
RV Salesman: "you can tell your son, that it comes with its own satellite..."Andrew

I'd imagine you'd have issues fitting that Cruise ship of a car you drive in there. Do you have a link to that thing?

LOL the car in that picture is a MB SLK...either the kid or the wife is gonna get left behind when they take the car out for a spin.
funny thing too, that RV was featured in Top Gear as well ...Whenever I’m about to do something, I think “would an idiot do that?” and if they would, I do not do that thing. ~ Dwight Schrute

I think the parking bay can only accomodate a 16 foot long car.
Its funny how my opinion of cars has changed over the years, while I used to covet speed and sexiness in sports cars (I had a poster of a porsche 959 on my bedroom door as a kid), I now value safety, storage capacity and comfort.Andrew

**TRIVIA QUESTION**
What's the connection between this exotic sportscar and Canadian pop culture?
When applying the Rules, you follow them line by line. You don't read between them.

I blame my older cousin, he did nothing for me as a kid in terms of passing down wisdom, he just passed on a love for Rush and KISS that I still don't quite understand. I think it's like cooties. As for the GC show, I don't know why, but I always enjoy those. On one of the holes he drove a par 4 and then 4 putted for bogey. He's a good ball striker but a terrible terrible putter.

I wouldn't buy it at that price, but if someone handed it to me I'd drive it everywhere!

Nat, is your truck going to eat Jarred's car for a snack?
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Nat what use do you have for that?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Tonnes.
#1 - Great for golf as it comfortably seats up to 6ppl (the back seat has more room than your average sedan), and it would be no trouble putting those 6 sets of clubs in the back.
#2 - Great for loading up Bikes etc if you want to head to Gatineau for the day
#3 - Never worry about weather again, 'cause this thing will not get stuck (4X4, w/ rear locking diff, and some skid plates for good measure)
#4 - Towin a boat, camping etc ... it can pull around ~11000-13000 w/ a payload of ~3000
And of course to top it all off, it's got a really luxurious interior ... it's like driving around in an armchair.NCGT Ryder Cup Team Green (06,07,08)

Nat, that will cost you a lot of gas. I gave up on trucks when I thought gas was expensive - and that was years ago.
My new car is apparently delayed because of all the snow they have had in Halifax , and some CN rail problem.

Indio, parking is a bit of a problem, as it rings in at 19 X 6'8 X 6'6, but luckily our new office is a converted house, so the driveway is much larger than a downtown parking spot.
As for the gas, the price was factored into the purchase. It kinda sucks to be doing an avg. of 16.5l/100KM, but at the same time the added advantages are worth the price imo.
Also, as Indio said, you can't help but feel safe. I feel sorry for anyone that decides to run into me in this thing. (but not too sorry, 'cause they will have dinged up my truck )NCGT Ryder Cup Team Green (06,07,08)

#1 - Great for golf as it comfortably seats up to 6ppl (the back seat has more room than your average sedan), and it would be no trouble putting those 6 sets of clubs in the back.
you can only tee off in a 4some. so 6 people is usless.
#2 - Great for loading up Bikes etc if you want to head to Gatineau for the day
when was the last time you did that? if i recall correctly you dred physical activity
#3 - Never worry about weather again, 'cause this thing will not get stuck (4X4, w/ rear locking diff, and some skid plates for good measure)
ok i agree there. but thats nothing i couldnt have done in my TJ which was 1/4 the size. and 1/2 the price
#4 - Towin a boat, camping etc ... it can pull around ~11000-13000 w/ a payload of ~3000
more usless benifits, when are you ever going to own a boat. i go camping in my mazda3 no problem.
And of course to top it all off, it's got a really luxurious interior ... it's like driving around in an armchair.
for the smae price you could be driving a much nicer sedan imo. with all wheel drive and cheaper on gas. imo

#1 - 2 3somes ... but really, it's meant for 4ppl, and loading up 4 sets of clubs & 4ppl in a sedan isn't all that reasonable.
#2 - a love of drinking does not always = a hatred of physical activity. I play a lot of sports and keep very active, getting to take the bike to somewhere other than Barrhaven will be a nice change Forgot to mention, also managing a softball team this year, the truck makes it real easy to lug around all the equipment.
#3 - true there are smaller vehicles that can handle it, but this si the only one that meets my other criteria
#4 - Friends have boats, we go fishin, and camping ... it'll come in handy.
As for appearance, I much prefer this to a sedan. And for comfort, this thing has a huge interior and that makes a world of difference for me considering how much time I spend in a car.
p.s. give me a zippy sedan and I will lose my license. .. give me this thing and I will be much more responsible (b/c I can't afford to speed @ those gas rates lol)NCGT Ryder Cup Team Green (06,07,08)

Wow... I bet your own father didn't even question you on the new purchase that much. Enjoy the truck, I'm glad you found something that you can fit your giant melon into and still be able to check your blind spot
I've got my fathers truck for a couple weeks while he's out of the country, and there's nothing better in the winter than a good game of "Create-a-Parking-Spot".Let's put a Smile on that Face!

my friend used to do that with his suburban. just get a few orange pylons and voila, you can park anywhere.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.
