    VIrus Warning

We just got an E-Mail from a "Larry Butler" re: golfing this Saturday.

Our system DELETED it as a virus was detected within the attachment.

    Keep an eye out gang

Really. But you forgot to mention where and how and with what as in the clue game.
For example: I suggest the crime was committed in the lounge by the butler with the wrench.

    more

    from an email:
WARNING Watch out for these new viruses - Neither Symantec or

McAfee have any solutions for these yet!!!
The Clinton Virus - Gives you a 7-inch Hard Drive with NO memory.

The Bob Dole (Aka Viagra) Virus - Makes a new hard drive out of an old floppy.

The Lewinsky Virus - Sucks all the memory out of your computer, then e-mails everyone about what it did.

The Ronald Reagan Virus - Saves your data, but forgets where it is
    stored.

The Mike Tyson Virus - Quits after two bytes
The Oprah Winfrey Virus - Your 300 Mb hard drive shrinks to 100 Mb, then slowly expands to re-stabilize around 200 Mb.

The Jack Kevorkian Virus - Deletes all old files.

The Ellen Degeneres Virus - Disks can no longer be inserted.

The Paxil/Prozac Virus - Totally screws up your RAM, but your processor doesn't care.

The Joey Buttafuoco Virus - Only attacks minor files.

    AND THE FAVORITE .

The Lorena Bobbitt Virus - Reformats your hard drive into a 3.5 inch
floppy; then, discards it through Windows.

Has anyone else been getting an email from Microsolf with an attachment saying to install this immediately? The emails appear to come from Microsoft. I must have received the same email from them 15 times in the past couple of weeks. Rogers said that they were forwarding a patch to all emails listed ....@rogers.com but they don't seem to stop.

Any email from MICROSOFT SUPPORT is FALSE and contains a virus; and should be deleted without opening immediatly. It is MS policy NOT to email support items for this exact reason.

Microsoft does not email security patches, hot fixes, etc. directly to users. The onus is on the user to download such items from their website.
