    Developing World Golf Vacations?

    So thinking of going somewhere for Feb and March.

    Any ideas of places near a grocery store whre you can rent a villa for 2 months for ~1,000 a month. Groceries important as I don't want to rent a car. Also if the compound is near an ocean that's a +. I'm willing to fly anywhere, I'm crazy like that.

    Anyone? I'm open to Anywhere, DR, Dominica, Chile anywhere.

    All I ask is: GOOD internet connectivity / Good Weather / Affordable Accomodations. I'd rather go somewhere for 2 months then blow my wad on 1 week in Aruba or somehwere "trendy".

    No tourist BS here. I just want ot live on a course for 2 months.

    ANy ideas?

    Lucky you... If I had 2 months, I would go to San Carlos (Mexico) I used to lived close by just before coming to Canada.

    Sorta lucky as it would involve quitting my current job... Also I'd want somewhere where I can rent a villa on the course and ASSUME the members pass. So free Golf. As far as Summer is concerned. Value for money.. I love Ottawa! Winter. .. Not so much. Just trying to weigh my options!

    I know in Decameron Panama, 1200 gets you a niec villa with unlimited golf. Issue is you need a car as it's ~20 min to nearest grocery store!

    decameron for 1200 ?

    Also looking at Panama. Where did you see a 1200 deal for high season ?

    Search the Decameron Resort. It's a beautiful resort on the ocean with arguably the best golf course I've ever played. There was about a 10 - 15 to 1 ratio of workers to golfers... That being said it was just myself and a friend playing.

    Awesome awesome awesome condition and relatively new. ~1200 is what i was quoted from a guy who works at the resort. I'm looking into it as well and will keep you posted.

    The resort rents out places for people who just own them for investments.
