Wet Sand
:cry What is the best technique in wet sand? I was having a pretty good round today untill I skulled one across the green? :cry :cry

You had the right technique; just the wrong club.
Your sand wedge has too much bounce for wet sand. Lots of bounce prevents the club from digging into soft sand.
However, this also causes the club to "skip" over wet sand.
Use your "zero" bounce sand wedge or your pitching wedge.

Thank you Gary. You're right. My SW has 12 bounce and my PW 4 bounce. Should I open the blade of the PW?

I wouldn't recommend opening your pitching wedge if the sand is wet and packed.
Remember: If you open your pitching wedge, you will add loft AND you will also add bounce.
Using your pitching wedge, the ball will come out with a lower trajectory than you are used to and will not "bite" as much as normal (if it all).
You will have to experiment a bit.
FYI - Using a pitching wedge or "zero" bounce wedge also works if your ball is half submerged in water.
