Early 2008 PGA/LPGA Season Predictions
I think 2008 will see Hunter Mahan win a big tournament, perhaps a major or the Players Championship, for his breakthrough year.
Other Predictions:
-Woods and Mickelson will win one major each.
-Mike Weir will win two tournaments this year.
-Annika will return to form and win a major.
-Paula Creamer will win LPGA POY and the money title.
-Vijay and Furyk will go without a winDonny Vantage NFL Guru, since 1974

I'm already looking forward to it:
Tiger--2 majors and a bunch of minors----again.
Phil--a couple of minors
Mikey--a couple of minors
Annika--I think she has peaked but will win
Paula--all the way--older and starting to mature
Michelle--still too young
Jim--will win one
VJ--toss-up
Young Guns--on the PJA--watch for a few surprises--somebody has to start looking like they can replace Tiger in about 10 yearsDoes the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

I really thought Ogilvy was going to step up last year. He seems to me to have the game and attitude to hang with the big guns, if not actually challenge Tiger.
If Tiger can come out of the gate putting like he did at the end of this year, he might have his best year ever. He should have won both the Masters and the US Open, he just couldn't get anything to drop. Based on the last couple years though, he doesn't seem to putt well to start the year.

- Daily will earn his tour card back
- I will beat Indio in a Match Play Challenge

- Tiger will win 2 maybe 3 majors this year
- Lefty won't win a major and I don't even believe he will win a tournament
- Unfortunately Annika won't make it back because of the young guns, they will prove to be too much for her
- I agree with Paula and also believe that Ochoa will be right behind her.
- Vijay will win a couple, Furyk will win one.Proud member of the 2009 OG/TGN Ryder Cup Champions

I like these picks, especially Lucas Glover. I predict this guy is going to be a dominant force on the tour for several years.
Justin Rose seems to have taken his game to the next level so I would expect him to have an excellent year.
I disagree with the Baddely pick, I never thought he was any good, and I don't expect him to improve.
I predict he'll be flipping burgers in a couple of years.Al Gore didn't invent the internet, but he did invent global warming.

Nickalaus picked Glover for a reason. I think Michelson working with Harmon will really pay off. He will be dominant.

Freddy still has the game as we saw in the recent skins game. Unfortunately his back just doesn't seem to want to heal. I would love to see Freddy out on tour again but as he said in an interview recently, his priorities in life have changed to focus more on family and his body just wouldn't stand up to the test of a rigorus golf schedule.
The good news is he is playing in Tiger's tournament this weekProud member of the 2009 OG/TGN Ryder Cup Champions
