Yeah, but in black pearl. I'm not a mallet guy at all, but I just love the look of the 3.5, the BP puts it over the top.

Big time in Cameron $$ is a lot, lol. This is more a mid-time $$ putter. Say 3-4x the cost of your SD5.

I have been looking for a Red X for a while, not sure what model. As well I would like to get an LH JAT if one ever comes up for sale.

Hoping by the end of next year I can move into something more significant. I have a couple going into the Spa this week that I am looking forward to getting back.

    Talking

I have a Studio Design 2 getting pimped up at Kevin Colbert's.. I can't wait to see it.

As you may know I had the same type of putter over-hauled at Cameron Studios this past spring. It came back as new and I used it all season and loved it. It's beginning to lose it's luster.
However my good buddy Lance sold me another one that I had planned on oil canning myself, but had second thoughts and decided to send it to Kevin for some personal touches.... I should have it before Xmas.

$2500 is the going rate as there are only 4 of them, I believe 3 of them are owned by leftys on TCC. If you're interested at that price, I can point you to one of the owners who I suspect might sell his.

07 Holiday Putter and The 07 My Girl - If these are to be released. Only rumors as of yet.

The new Holiday Cover... Plus I'm sure a few surprises from the Studio store

I don't know yet, but as long as the Studio Select comes without insert, I'll be grabbing one of those with the weight kit in April. But I'm sure there will be stuff in between too.

hey Spackler - why do you like that putter and what's wrong with inserts?

I like the inserts - Maybe because the Bobby Grace I have been playing for about 4 years has an insert.

I don't know, I just like the feel of a solid putter. I have a TeI3, so I'm not totally against them, just wasn't a huge fan of the more recent insert putters (red X, Studio Style). As for the Studio Select, I like the idea of being able to have a customized weighted head for the putter. As a lefty, different weighted heads are only available to us in tour putters, and in the mil-spec line, so this is huge news for us.

Thanks...I liked the look of the Studio Select but wondered if the average golfer would be adjusting the weights? It seem to be that I have enough issue than to worry about if the head or toe weights are correct for my swing..At least I think that's what they are for???

It's more a swing weight and balance thing I think. For most styles, if you needed a shorter putter than 35", you are stuck with a 330g head. Cut two inches off of it to get it down to 33" and you have a light feeling head and a swing weight in the low Cs. Now you'll be able to custom weight the head to your preferred specs without having to worry about sticking a wad of lead tape on the putter, or pouring tungsten down the shaft.

Only 4 JAT's huh, interesting. I would be interested in something like that, but too be honest I don't think I would be in a position to move on something like until next year, likely in the fall.

A recent vehicle purchase will be my luxery item for the year.

Thakns for the heads up and if you are talking to him, let him know there is interest from me and too PM over at TCC.

    Thanks,
