Classic newlywed bride. In time. Once the kids graduate HS it will be changed to "Don't let the doorknob hit you in the ass on the way out!" & "Have Fun!" But be sure to call when you leave the course to give the pool man time to clear out!
Life dinnae come wit gimmies so yuv got nae chance o' gitt'n any from me.

Paulio, I think most of us have been there............
You can always use one argument my friend used. His wife was always after him for golfing a couple of times a week. He calmly said ok, I will keep track of the hours I am away golfing per week, which worked out to be approximatley 12 hours. Then said to her, and you keep track of the hours you spend on "facebook" per week.
Needless to say, my friend WON the argument !!!
P.S. Just make sure she doesn't add the time you spend on this forum......."So many moving parts. Your whole body's moving, and this ball is not moving. It's standing still, laughing at you." Tiger Woods

My wife now justs asks me each day what time I have to be at work. Now that the season is running down she's going to have to put up with me hanging around the house. I'm sure she'll still be expecting me to at least go visit the golf course.

Resistance is futile, you will be assimilated. If you resist it will just hurt more.
Dude, you need to go straight to the Florist and buy your wife a dozen roses. Then stop at the LCBO and grab a bottle of bubbly. Then (this is the hard part), spend the entire evening listening to your lovely bride as she talks about whatever she wants to talk about. Practice eye contact, nod in an interested and concerned manner, chuckle regularly.
Repeat as necessary. Take this from an old dog who can now play golf pretty much anytime he wants, this works!

Paul, always best to point out to her that you spend little time on this forum "compared" to others..........
Do up a detailed excel spreadsheet with powerpoint bar graphs and theme music if necessary.
It can go something like this:
Name ; Join Date ; # Posts ; Title
Hacker; June 2006; 3,599 ; I have no Life
Indio; August 2005; 5,861; Hall of Fame
jvincent; March 2004; 3,229; Really, I have kids?
Paulio; March 2004; 364; (Note* Have Dan change to "I Love my Wife Dearly"
You will be so low on the graph she will even have trouble seeing your stats when compared to the Forum "Superstars".........."So many moving parts. Your whole body's moving, and this ball is not moving. It's standing still, laughing at you." Tiger Woods
