    2006 vs 2007 Circa

Pros and cons? Which one is better for resale? Any feel differences? Trying to figure out which one to get.

2007 is pretty much maintenance free, 2006 is gun blue so it can rust. I find the feel softer on the 2006, for me that's a plus but some prefer a 'clickier' feel of the 2007. The early 2006 models came with a stitchback grip, which is a $50 upgrade over the standard baby t. Resale I'd say is the same. The 2007s go for a bit higher right now, but they're dropping to the same level pretty quickly. Also, the 2006 Circa mallet, the number 5, and the 2007 mallet, the number 6, are unique to their model years, so if it's either you're looking for, you're stuck with that vintage.

I have a 2006 no 2 that I love the feel of. I've considered getting either a 2007 or a pro platinum version as a bad weather putter, but haven't bothered yet.

Have the chance to get either model. The 06 has been cut to 33 but comes with h/c and tool, the 07 is stock but no h/c well an h/c but wants more cash. Don't like the idea of the clicky feel but not so sure on the high maintainence of the 06. Looking at the 2 model. Kind of dig the bright yellow h/c over the red.

The maintenance for the gun blue is not that big a deal. Just keep it clean and dry, never leave it in a wet headcover after a round, and wipe it with a silicone cloth or baby oil after each round and you're fine. Maybe an extra 5 minutes of work, if that, per round. I have a few gun blue putters and they're pretty easy to take care of. Nothing beats the soft feel of raw carbon steel either.

The 'clicky' feel of the 2007 is still softer than a stainless steel putter. Just feels more crisp than a raw carbon putter, if that makes any sense. You can always extend the 06 back to 35" if that's an issue, or get a new shaft for like $10.

Went with the 06. Just ended up getting a better deal. It's mint and comes with the h/c and tool and with the dollar right now I love buying in american dollars! Can't wait for it to get here.

ebay has the cloths, or sometimes someone on here has one lying around.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.
