If I recall there was a thread about a rumour that Peter Forsberg could come to Ottawa. If you are an Ottawa Fan do you really want this guy in your lineup? Unless they get him for a bag of pucks and two sticks I can't see why you would want him.

yes, we've all seen that article...I think before people read that the answer was yes, but I think now, it's pretty iffy, unless you had an incentive laden contract with a low base salary.

i still want him. Why would the fans care what the salary was. It was presumed that he was gonna be a rental player for the Sens this year, so as long as he's under the cap i want him on my team. Its not like I, as a fan, am worried that we aren't getting bang for our buck with Forsberg, unless there is another viable option instead.

After seeing his interview on Monday night I'd be very, very surprized if we see Peter the Great back in the NHL.........but if he does come back, I'm with davevandyk - I want him on my team
