Calgary's Stephen Ames picks up first PGA Tour victory of year at Disney
Canadian Stephen Ames wanted to escape the chill of Calgary for the final PGA Tour event, a decision that paid off Sunday when he closed with a 4-under 68 for a one-shot victory in the Children's Miracle Network Classic.

man is it just me, or is it wicked to watch Ames play when he is on his game. Its just fairways and greens. When he is playing well it just seems that he hits every green/fairway and makes the 4 or 5 putts that he needs.

That win puts Ames at #30 in the World Rankings..........3 spots higher than Canada's native son Mike Weir.
Two golfers in the top 35 in the World, not too shabby for a country with a Northern climate
