    Betting discussion rule change

    I have done some research and found this document:
    The Legality Of Internet Gaming In Canada http://gaming.uleth.ca/agri_downloads/1449/lipton.pdf which contains the following section:

    Exceptions to Prohibition
    “Private Bets”
    Section 204(1)(b) –sections 201 and 202 (i.e. “betting”) offences N/A to “a private bet between individuals not engaged in any way in the business of betting”
    Therefore, the rule against such arrangement making is now lifted.

    The moderators will not resopnd to, get involved with or intervene in any way with problems that may arise between users who have issues resulting from betting arrangements made here. This is not the same as a buy/sell deal. You are 100% on your own.
