Topflite Gamer - D2 Technology
I have not see any buzz yet about the new 3 piece D2 ball called the Gamer. It does not replace the feel ball but it is now a step up. The best part is it will cost roughly the same as the D2s except the box will be sold by the dozen not a 15 pack.
I am very excited to try these new balls out in 2008.

It's only been released to people on the Callaway staff as far as I know right now which is why there hasn't been to much buzz.
Reviews so far have been pretty positive. Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

I saw these at Golftown yesterday selling for $20 a dozen. Looking forward to any feedback.
Is that a good price for a 3 piece ball?

That is an excellent price for a 3-piece ball.
Reviews from our friends to the south say it's an improvement to the D2-feel. Same distance but more greenside spin. Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Bought a dozen today. Was about to pick up some D2 Feels when the clerk suggested the Gamers. Well it will be a while before I have any input I guess. At 20$ a dozen for a 3 piece ball, can't hurt to try them
Bad days golf, better then a good days work!

So i have used this ball for 3 rounds now and i love them. I find them long witht eh driver and check up nicely with a wedge. They only issue i have is they get chewed up pretty quickly by wedges but i can usually get through a round with one or two.
I say great ball and awsome ball for the price....think this is the one for the year!

Still have my dozen in the bag. Looking forward to trying them out. From what your saying Gropper, they are what the salesman at GT told me they would be. Can't really expect a ball that checks up well to be very resistant aswell especially at that price.

Just tried these out and was really impressed. Most iron shots into the green had some nice action ..... good distance off the driver. For $20 a dozen you can't go wrong .......... Played an entire round with one ball - it still has another round in it. Impressed !!

did an "on course" comparison using Gamer, e5 and a Srixon of comparable value pricing (can't remember name)
verdict, my buddy and and I both liked the Gamer best around the greens. I cannot honestly say I noticed any difference off the tee in our limited testing (one round)
they ALL were impressive for the $$ !!
The e5 still looks new, the Gamer and Srixon fared somewhat worse however not terrible. I use non-SM vokeys my buddy has Callys, one with the MD grooves same results.
I can also report that the Srixons don't float
