Presentation at local College
Next week is my 4'th time going to Durham College here in Oshawa and doing a presentation to the first year Golf students.
Were going to cover some basics of repair and fittings.
I am handing out the Wishon April E-tech report to help with the advancement of True Length Technology TM as the young students of the game need exposure to the real world of fitting. Also included is a package that Tom sent me on MOI (thanks Tom - that's a great read by the way) and fitting in general. The TLT paper will also be given to the second and third year students. I'm going to give Tom's slide show to her as well hoping she will incorporate that into the 2'nd and 3'rd year. Now that's keeping up with whats new in the world of golf.
I already have some of the kids playing True Length Technology TM and their comments back are always positive. PS, I am currently working on TLT charts for children as the fits I see on these kids is outrageous, so to my Registered users - this is coming in the future.
I'm posting this because its a great way to get exposure to the young upcoming players and many of you guys should be looking to do similar things at your local schools. If we can get these guys and girls to understand TLT and MOI and their benefits and start playing to our fits then we got a shot at 'spreading the word'.
Do some of you guys currently do this and what has worked best for you? PS, I'm out of the 12 myths books, but on my next order I am getting enough to give to the class in the future.
Suggestions or thoughtsThanks, Dan

Welcome. The audio files are a little monotonous. If you ever come to ottawa for a presentation let us know I would attend.

Are either of you guys PCS members - not that I feel that matters, just curious?
I will get hold of my contact shortly and see if he has made any advances on the Ontario Chapter meeting?
I would certainly feel that non PCS members would be welcome as part of what we do would be a drive to gain membership.
The PCS seems to be making good headway of late and will become a bigger player in the golfing community. Thanks, Dan

I am not. I am just a hobbyist and have no intention of going into this full time. Maybe when I am retired which is not anytime soon unless I win the lottery or something However Don at Artisan is(well last time we spoke which is about a year ago) I believe Al at Als clubhouse is also a member. Downhillslider(clubsrus) used to be a member.

I am not yet a PCS member, I have been building and tinkering for about 5 years, am a member of GCA. I was getting pretty serious until I was posted to the Kingston area and had to start over building the intertest up. I do not have the time to dedicate that I used to but would like to keep advancing my ability. (Originally trained through Golfworks)

It's a great hobby that can occupy a pile of time. The PCS is a great learning venue, as is Maltby etc.
I've had 3 of the Maltby courses, GCA Advanved Professional, Rifle Certified, developed True Length Technology
See what happens to a hobbyThanks, Dan
