McCabe's Goal
Did anyone see McCabe's goal in OT last night??
What an awesome display of hand-eye coordination - certainly justifies the huge contract and the no movement clause...........too bad he scored it on his own net - in OT no less!!

Salary $7.15M
Hockey Stick $200
Hockey Pads $500
Skates $400
Scoring a goal on your own net with 3 seconds left of OT against a divisional rival...
PRICELESS

Yup, I saw it Great shot
I can't believe how Paul Maurice is giving it to the Toronto fans for booing McCabe all the time its not going to make him any friends in Toronto
After that, if he thought they were booing McCabe without reason, whats it gonna be like Thursday night back home!Proud member of the 2009 OG/TGN Ryder Cup Champions

Maurice is trying to deflect the blame to be sure, but the real blame belong with JFJ
I think that JFJ is gonzo by Christmas........Maurice could be the second coming of Scotty Bowman and he'd still have no chance of doing very much with the gang of misfits that JFJ has put together for him

I did have something rather witty and insightful typed out, then I deleted it because I remembered what mom always told me, if you can't say anything nice, don't say it at all! lol

Nice - I'm surprized that it took as long as it did for the photoshopers to get to work

I just can't wait for some fan with too much money to actually custom order one of those Sabres jerseys. I guarantee you will see one this year.

you could easily buy the jersey and have it lettered locally.

Or maybe the Canadiens player made a hell of a read on the play and it wasn't entirely McCabe's fault.
Wow...some people are really dense when it comes to this guy.

Ya, it was a nice play by Komisarek, but give me a break. It was a gift of a pass. And McCabe made no effort to catch the guy. It's not like he stole the puck at blistering speed and shot off to the races. He stepped in, and slowly skated down the ice (Komisarek is not exactly speedy) and actually slowed down significantly at the blueline to make sure he didn't screw up the shot. And yet McCabe was nowhere near him. I know when I played hockey, if you give up the puck like that, you better hustle your ass off to get back in the play. McCabe just gave up.

I am sure he is, although he does refer to some people as "dense"........Thats quite direct of him.......
My post has the corrected spelling (typo). Why don't you correct yours while online......Hope you did not put too much effort in changing my correction back to the error........"So many moving parts. Jonf, we often do not agree, but on this one I agree 100 %.
Perhaps Fally should watch the recap Video on Yahoo Sports. I have just watched the play and re-ran it half dozen times. Macabe telegraphed the pass !!!
