Ping ISI-S For Sale
Set consists of 2-PW and LW, all matching serial #s. Shafts are regular flex, but what model I'm not sure, I'd have to check the bands. Long irons are orange dot, short irons are brown dot. But you can always send these to Ping for a free lie adjustment, and according to the Ping site, the ISI-S are bendable up to 4*. Grips could probably be replaced. Other than that, set is in typical Ping shape.
Looking for $130 for the set. PM with interest. Something more up my alley has caught my eye.Last edited by Big Johnny69; 10-16-2007 at 08:15 PM.

Gave my head a shake, and no longer for sale. Played three rounds with these and have had scores of 72, 73 and 71. Super forgiving, and just what I need right now.

Back up for grabs, $130 for a super forgiving set of irons. Just put some new Sharpro grips on them.
Checked, and shafts are Cushin JZ r-flex steel. But they don't feel too soft at all for me. Hit them side by side with some G2 w/ stiff shafts today and ball flight and distance was equal with corresponding clubs."A life lived in fear of the new and the untried is not a life lived to its fullest." Damn that was fast. Have you tracked the half-life of the clubs you own? Should I even ask what's replacing them?

Should I put my backup set of Tour Cavity Forged in the car in case you want to switch between now and then?

Nah, I won't be switching, but I might need a set until I can set up a meet to get the new sticks though.
See, my problem is I have a very impressionable mind. I hit one good shot with a club, I'm so impressed, I need to get myself a set of those. It's a curse I tell ya, a curse."A life lived in fear of the new and the untried is not a life lived to its fullest." M.Pare 10/09/08

Deal fell through, so a very forgiving set of irons are back up for sale. I'll even drop the price a bit to $125.
Somebody help a brother out. I guess I got ahead of myself, but I already told someone I'd take their irons thinking these were sold. Sometimes things don't always go as planned, but I'd still like to grab me new wands. Someone must want a great deal on a great set of sticks.
Yes, this is me begging.Last edited by Big Johnny69; 10-17-2007 at 08:54 AM.

I think 2-6 are orange, 7-PW and LW are brown. I'm going to call Ping with the serial numbers to confirm.
Grooves are typical Ping, nothing major wrong with them.
Condition, I'd have to say at least 8/10. I'll double check them, but they're in real good shape."A life lived in fear of the new and the untried is not a life lived to its fullest." M.Pare 10/09/08

Second deal fell through. Really need these gone folks. $120 for set of Pings, which are the Honda of golf clubs, will last you for years and years. $120 is a great deal for a complete set regardless, but you are also getting a 2 iron and a LW, all with new grips. I'm taking a $30 hit on the grips alone. And you'll also get an "Elk" LW and some shag balls. Can't beat that.

Nah, I know it was only a couple of days, but I had many "I'll take them" and then "Sorry I can't", and then from someone else "I'll take them...sorry I can't". Oh well it happens. But someone will be very happy.
And on a side note, at least this way I can get into my most favourited irons of all time.Last edited by Big Johnny69; 10-22-2007 at 02:04 PM.

I'm betting Acers. This is a better pool than the garbage can one, got to be more iron sets hoed by Big G than golf balls in a garbage can....
