as a buffalo fan, that was so disheartening. +5 turnover ratio, 1 kickoff return, 2 interception returns, and they STILL can't pull off a win? They had so many opportunities, caught so many breaks, and they still flounder in the final minutes. That was a pathetic performance.

look at it this way... if they lose by 1 point without scoring a single offensive touchdown, thats not bad

I've been a Bills fan for 20 years, and honestly, considering the injuries they have on defence, and that they have a rookie quarterback at the helm, it was a great performance. I think it's something they can build on, and take a lot of positives away from...

My 60 year old neighbour was at the game and for a while I thought they were letting him play QB for the Cowboys. That was honestly one of the best games I've ever seen, especially the last 5 minutes.

As a Cowboy fan, and a Buffalo hater, I am extremely happy with the final results. Even though Romo played poorly, they stil managed to win te game. WooHoo.

I just can't believe one team can give another team so many chances to win a ball game. Then the rookie kicker goes out and hits a 50 yarder and the play is called dead... then he has to do it again!!!! really was an amazing game

There were some positives, yes. Their defense and special teams played great (if we don't count the last 4 minutes). But their offense was invisible. They had so many opportunities to ice the game with first downs, and they couldn't get them when they mattered.

I couldn't believe how much praise Dallas was given for pulling this out. True, good teams find ways to win, but that was some of the poorest execution I've ever seen. Basically, I now believe New England will destroy Dallas. Take New England on the early spread!

Donny, New England will kill dallas. There is no question in my mind. I don't know what the spread is but I'm saying NE by 20+ points. I want to see NE destroy INDY as well

Spread will probably be 5 or 6.

The only thing I hate is that when the home team has points they usually cover. Since the beginning of the year Home team with + pts are way ahead.

Last week: 3 - 1 (Buffalo, San Fran and St. Louis covered, Kansas City loss)
    WEEK 3: 2 - 1
    WEEK 4: 4 - 1 (if I remember)

I will also take New England...

A healthy NE will win. They definitely need a healthy Maroney to win a title though.

Well, my heart says the Cowboys. But logically speaking the Pats should win. Having said that, considering the game is being played in Irving, it should be closer than what people think.

And I fully expect Romo to have a bounce back game after his worst outing in the Cowboys uniform.

Other thing going for Dallas is New England is 0-4 in Dallas. They've never won there. Its a tough suicide pool week too. I'm in a big one and I think if I can make it through this week my chances of winning will be severely helped. No w I just need to come up with a pick?

I keep track of the stats on my spread sheet for my pool. So far I have 25 home dogs. 17 of them covering. 11 of them willing outright

    Thanks Willy...

I should do the same and keep track.

This week there are 5 home dogs and I don't see any of them winning (or covering).

    KC +3, Jets +3, TB +3, Dallas +5 and Atlanta +3

    What do you guys think?

    TB isn't a dog.

Here are the home dogs that covered this season, would you have picked any of them?

    DEN -3
    BUF

    PHI -3
    GB

    NYG -3.5
    DAL

    CIN -7
    CLE

    IND -7
    TEN

    NO -5
    TB

    IND -6.5
    HOU

    SD -5.5
    GB

    BAL -3.5
    CLE

    CHI -2.5
    DET

    HOU -2.5
    ATL

    NYJ -3.5
    BUF

    PIT -5.5
    ARI

    PHI -2
    NYG

    ARI -3.5
    STL

    BAL -4
    SF

    DAL -10.5
    BUF

Which ones would I take?? KC +3, Jets +3, Dallas +5 and Atlanta +3

I would take them all except for NE. I might go against ATL because the actual line for my pool is 3.5 and that 1/2 point is huge.

Sorry, you are right Tennessee is +3... Easy picking... Vince Young

I have pick 12 of these underdogs. I like underdogs at home but this week I don't know. It has to change at some point and go back to 50/50.

I think I will play the law of average and take all the visitors...lol

KC, Jets and Atlanta are playing 3 really good team. I know the Bengals don't have a good start but I really like their offense. It will be interesting like every week-end.

    Thanks for your input.

one last thing... its never 50/50 for home dogs. Its always closer to 60%-65% dogs
