NCGT season comes to an end

For those who have followed our site at all or those interested in our tour, our final event of 2007 was played yesterday at the Meadows Golf Course.

With a slim 7 point lead going into the round (we play stableford scoring for the entire year), Mike Krewski was going to have to hold off the pack, as the others were trying to pass him on the leaderboard. Mike did what he had to do, as the top 4 players struggled early on and was tight right up to the end.

Congratulations Mike Krewki, our 2007 NCGT Tour Champion.

Also to note,
Our Season Long Match Play tournamnet was also wrapped up on the weekend. Saturday at Le Sorcier, was the location for the final match which would determine our MP Champion. Who would have thought we would have our first ever Double Trophy Winner.

Mike Krewski was a man on a mission as he defeated Matt Renaud 5 and 4 in the final match. Well done Matt for making it that far in the tournament and a big Congrats again to Mike Krewski, our 2007 Match Play Champion.

I was a guest a couple of times this year and had alot of fun with the guys that I got matched up with (thank god that they didn't know I was Indio on the forum )

Steve, you did a great job with the tour and I for one plan on joining up for next year aslong as me knee rehab is done by the spring

There are a great buch of guys and gal on that tour and they sure seem to have fun all the time (and it doesn't hurt when you can pick up a little money no matter what your playing level is)
