Season of 1sts
After defeating Hoolio in the fun day match, I looked back on 2007 as a good season of 1sts. Unfortunately, my index stagnated for the 1st time since 2001, but I'm particularly happy about the number of top notch area courses I got to play for the 1st time (in order that I played them):
Maple View
Heritage
Outaouais
Montebello
White Tail
Deep River
Rideauview
With the possible exception of Maple View (it was late march & we played the front 9 twice, so I can't make a fair assesment) I would consider all the courses top notch. In fact, how am I going to be able to top this list next season?
Anybody else hit up this many new area courses for the 1st time this year?Andrew

Well I played Outaouais, Eagle Creek and Anderson for the first time this year. Played all three this week. ,as well as playing Emerald Links. I could hardly hit a ball by the last game I was so tired. Oh dear! I am getting old. Definately fun though.
Outaouais and Eagle Creek are absolutely gorgeous courses. Stunning really.
I also visited Rideauview. I looks like a beautiful course too and the facilities are nice. It would be the one I would probably want to join as it is very close to me.
But no, not as many new ones as you.

I dumped two in there. I think Hoolio put one in there. We were just fooling around as the match was over. Forum legend Palmerisking I think got on in 2. They were playing the tips too (hoolio & palmerisking)

I guess you club link members really get to enjoy this aspect of your membership. I'm surprised my 7 new courses in one season has been eclipsed by one member and equalled by another.
