    Future Bell Opens

Thanks for the web site Dan. Does anybody know where the next few Bell Open's will be held? I have been to the last two and have tickets for this years event as well. Great to watch those guys play. I heard that it might be heading out West soon.

I grew up in Vancouver and was fortunate to have been able to play Shaunessey Golf Club on a regular basis in the early 80's. Great course, would love to be able to play it now, I'm sure they made it tougher than the last time I played it.

Brent Franklin played his junior golf there. He won at least 2 straight Canadian Junior's. There were also three brothers with the last name of Kraemer who came from there. The head pro was Jack McGlaughlin (spelling) who was one of the best teaching pro's and had a big hand in starting up the Canadian Junior Junior program. I was fortunate to work for one of Jack's sons, Jim who was the head pro at the University Golf Club.

From what I've heard, there are three possibilities for the venue in 2006:

    1. Royal Montreal
    2. Fontainebleau (if it's in awesome shape by then... and it should be)
    3. A brand new course built by the RCGA...
