    1000 Islands

    Has anyone played the Lake course and the Old course at 1000 Islands. I just checked out their fall specials---not a bad deal--overnight 2rds w cart and dinner 129.00. What is the accomadation like and quality of the courses. Any info would be apprec.
    Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

    I was there in May. Beautiful setting and vey hospitable hosts. Great getaway but the Old couse is not up to acceptable standards for serious golfers. Short and terrible greens. So if you can get a deal that includes playing the new course you will be very happy.
